How do i change photos into gif, jpg, jpeg, png or bmp file?

When ever i scan photos into my computer, and then try to put them onto photobucket or myspace they wont work it says i need to chnage them into gif, jpg, jpeg, png, bmp files. I dont know how please help?How do i change photos into gif, jpg, jpeg, png or bmp file?
Open your picture in MS PAINT

Choose File%26gt;%26gt; Save As

In the Save as Type dropdown choose JPEG.How do i change photos into gif, jpg, jpeg, png or bmp file?
get a friend who knows how to do it change the format for you...
What imaging software do you have?



As long as you have a photo editor, most likely do connected to your scanner, you can click Edit, Save As in the photo editor software and then save it as any of the file types you've listed.
Open your photos with Paint ^_^

It's located in your Accessories there so you won't miss it ^_^

(Start Menu %26gt; All Programs %26gt; Accessories)



There, you save it under your preferred choice of format either .bmp or .jpg ^_^

(File %26gt; Save As...)



If you have picture editing softwares such as Adobe Photoshop, what I listed above can be applied on here ^_^



.gif is usually used for animated pictures so you don't really need that ^_^

Do not change the file name of the scanned pic. Usually it comes this way Name of Document,gif; Name of Document.jpg, etc. When you save pictures or docs. do not erase that type of doc. just change the first part.



Sample:

picture appears as srje.jpg

If I will change the file name into Susan, I will just change srje but not to omit the .jpg. The new file will be Susan.jpg

yh... after scan you pic click right on the mouse dropdown detail will be appear, select save bacgroung as....... then same time your picture file will appreared then save as any name in bmp.....
