I know it might sound dumb but how do you change the picture into a picture you upload of you? when i click my profile then change photo it doesnt work...

You have to activate your profile. To do that, go to your Yahoo! Answers profile, and then click on “Edit My Info”. You will see three boxes, one of which says “Use My Profile Picture” underneath. It should have a picture of your avatar in it. Click the link underneath the picture that says “Edit My Profile Image”. Or, if this is too difficult to comprehend, go to http://profiles.yahoo.com.



Once you set up the profile, after being asked to fill out some information (i.e., your name), you will be taken to a page that should be displaying your avatar, unless you haven’t made one. Click on “Change Photo” at the bottom of the picture display, slightly to the right, next to a hyperlink that says “Edit Profile”. You will see a pop-up line that has two options: “Add Photo” and “Customize Avatar”. To upload a photo, click on “Add Photo”. You will see a line that has a button that says “Browse”. Find the picture you want to upload, click “Upload”, and then crop it to size. To use a photo as your primary, or display photo, select the one you want: the Yahoo! Avatar, no picture or the uploaded picture. Then click on “Use Selected Photo”.

I also want to know, I don't even have a picture
hmmm......maybe change avatar or go on ur friends comouter, ue computer might be messed up..?

go to edit profile then edit my profile image then pick a pic from your pc to upload



EDIT: you need to download latest version of java
ok take the pic save it go to my profile edit my info use my profile image edit my profile image change photo add photo browse hard drive, fill in the letters then click upload
Restart your computer, then go on account details and it should have a thing that says edit. go from there.
Either try the following:

Disable your web proxy, if possible

An improperly written JavaScript

Java Script not enabled

Switch web browsers or upgrade your web browser
