You could always ';lose'; it and have to get a replacement. Be sure to have the license number when you go to the license office and some other form of id and they should be able to make another one for you.
It IS a white lie but it gets you a new picture. :DCan i change my driving licence photo changed?
I believe it is free. Check here though
http://www.dvla.gov.uk/
All you need to do is send BOTH parts of you driving licence and a D1 application form from the post office (also i would advise a small letter explaining that you ONLY want to change the photo on the licence) to:
DVLA
Swansea
SA99 1AB
....with a photocopy of you passport and as long a there is a true likeness between the photo on the licence and the photo that you are changing too then the photocopy passport will be OK. Otherwise you will have to send in the actual passport. You will not loose anything from the licence at all. It will come back as the same licence but obviously with the different photo. If you are only changing the photo and nothing else then it will cost 拢22, if you have a change of address or change of name and you send in both parts of the licence then it will be FREE.
If you have any questions go to:
www.direct.gov.uk OR call DVLA on 0870 240 0009 and speak to someone there. Hope this helps.
hello, i advise you not to goto the bother of changing your picture on your licence, its to much hassle, why not invest in a passport with a new picture of you, passports are much more valid to providing proof of age since they started installing chips in them, they hold the most respect
