How Do I Change The Colours Of A Photo To Black && White?

I'm wanting to change a photo of myself to black %26amp;%26amp; white, but I dunno how.

Can you help? ( I need a step by step guide. And fast! )How Do I Change The Colours Of A Photo To Black %26amp;%26amp; White?
Microsoft Photo Editor will do this if you change the proprties of the loaded image to gray scale.

1) Open your image with MS Photo Editor

2) Select File \ Properties from the menu.

3) Select Gray Scale (8 bit) from the Type drop-down box.

If you don't have MS Photo Editor, you might be able to do this with MS Paint, which is included free with all Windows OSs. My attempts at converting an image to B%26amp;W with MS Paint were not successful, but you may have different results.

1) Open your picture using MS Paint.

2) Select Image \ Attributes from the menu.

3) Click the Black and White checkbox. How Do I Change The Colours Of A Photo To Black %26amp;%26amp; White?
photo editing software
Do you have any image or photo software. On Photoshop it is simple, you can literally just select to make it B%26amp;W - couldn't be simpler
if you send the photo to asda thy do it for you or if you have a digital camera put the setting on b%26amp;w
Scan it into your computer %26amp; print it out using a monochrome printer.
You can usually do this in your image editing software but if you intent to print your photo directly you could also insert your image into MS Word and change it to greyscale using the button on the picture toolbar or rightclick on your photo, click on format picture, click on the picture tab and and on the colour drop down list click on greyscale - not the most technical of methods but easy enough
