How do I change a photo format?

I use Windows Vista and edited a photo using PaintShop Pro, I saved the edited copy but whenever I try to open it in Photo Gallery, it says it is the incorrect format. How do I change it from PSPIMAGE to the right one?How do I change a photo format?
u can use paint open it save as select ur pic as jpegHow do I change a photo format?
1. Reload the image back into Paintshop Pro

2. Go to File%26gt;Save As and choose a format which the Gallery will recognise (would recommend something like Jpeg, PNG, Tiff etc)

3. Bring the Gallery back up and check whether the new format is working.
