How do I change my photo on my yahoo, withough using the stupid avatar thing?

I tried to change my picture on my yahoo, but it only allow me to use the avatar thing. I just ned instruction to put a image from my computer to my profile picture...thingHow do I change my photo on my yahoo, withough using the stupid avatar thing?

Go to Yahoo profile http://profiles.yahoo.com/ put the arrow in the box where the grey smylie face is and you will see a popup that says (Change Photo), click it. Another box will open click on Add Photo now click Browse.

This will bring up all the files on your computer. Click the folder with the green up arrow untill you locate a file that says My Documents, then search the list for a file called My Pictures and double click it.

This will bring up all your pictures, select the picture that you want and click it the file name will appear in the top box, click open,

2. Enter the text displayed in the box. And click Upload. You will go back to the select photo box. Click one time on the picture a orange box will appear around the picture then select Use Selected Photo. Repeat to add more pictures.

Don't forget to scroll to the bottom of the page and click Preview then OK.



If you already have a profile go here and select Use My Profile image. http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit;_ylt

You can also add a picture from the internet, right click on the image and select Save picture As then select where you want to save it. Then you can upload it to your profile.

Add Pictures to Profile

Go here http://profiles.yahoo.com/u/EVSVWD5JAEKC and put the arrow on your image, click change picture.

A box will open, then click add photo. Another box will open click browse to view the pictures in My Pictures.
