How do I change tif format photos to jpeg format?

I have scanned several hundred photos using the tif format and now need to change them to jpeg in order to upload them to a photo printing service. How do I change tif format photos to jpeg format?
Picasa will do this in bulk

http://picasa.google.com

It's free. How do I change tif format photos to jpeg format?
I do it by opening them in paint and then save them again in another format
when you edit the pic..........save as jpeg
open them in photoshop or paintshop pro and click on file %26gt; save as %26gt; where it says filetype there is s drop down menu. select .jpg and click save
yeah what val said.
If you have adobe photoshop, you can do Copy as from the File Menu.
ok. so your looking to convert your porn into a usable form. use right click the file and click open with... go down to select program open with microsoft office picture editor and resave file in desired form.

good luck with your porn!!!
multimedia software such as photoshop or fireworks, i think illustrator also and anything similar. theres probably a 'save as...' or an 'export as...' function. use that then save as the format you need
1. Open the TIF picture in MS Paint.

2. Click on File and click Save As....

3. Save the file, but choose JPEG as the file type in the ';Save as type'; pulldown bar.
Cheap and easy:

Go to http://www.download.com and search for a free program that will convert images from one format to another. Download the program and install it.

More complicated and potentially more expensive:

Find any number of comercial image editing programs such as Adobe Photoshop. You can also try CoffeeCup Image Converted at http://www.coffeecup.com
There are several photo imaging programs that can handle batch processing so you don't have to do each individually by hand.

ACDsee is one of the finest programs for this sort of thing I've run across.
You shouldn't reformatt pictures in blusk, it looses quality.

But Piciza is a good bet like said before.
you need to use an image editing application such as PhotoShop Elements to open and then resave them. This application comes free with some new PCs. I know with PhotoShop you can create an action that will allow you to do this with all the photos in your folder, setting it up as a ';batch'; job. I am unsure if this can be done with PhotoShop Elements.
simple, just rename them with the .jpg extension. there may be a way to do this in a batch.
