Do you know how to get a picture on your avatar?

Because when I click the link to my profile page it just sends me to an address marked about:blank.



I'm asking this for someone else who is having problems with this.

They already tried this and it won't work for them:



1.go to my profile

2.edit my info

3.click edit profile image

4.change photo

5.add photo

6.enter code

7. browse

I see you already have a picture as your Yahoo! Answers picture next to your question above. It looks like a picture of a computer screen or something like that.



If you want to change it, follow the same steps you used to put this one.



Regarding the link to your profile, you can click your current avatar or nickname to get to your profile. You can also use this link: http://answers.yahoo.com/my/profile .



Regarding the ';about:blank'; thing, you may need to wait a little till the page loads.

Actually it would be:

6. Browse for photo on your hard drive.

7. Enter Code

8. Click Upload.

9. Crop if needed. The sides can be dragged out. Click Crop.

10. Select photo from the available ones AND Click Use Selected photo.

11. Now go back to Yahoo Answers, Edit Profile page and refresh the browser window if new photo does not show. The new Profile photo should be there as an option. Tick the circle for Use My Profile Image.

12. Click the blue Preview button and OK.



If it does not work then have your friend clear temp files, cookies and history from their browser before trying again.



1. Close all browser windows except one window that is in the default browser you use. Clear the browsers cache (temp files, cookies, and history). If you do not know how to do this then please read this:

2. Close that window now and open a new one.

3. Start the process over.

4. If needed try using an alternative browser such as Firefox.



Please note that the photo you use must be under 5 MB and in the jpeg or PNG format only.

i dont know how to and i need help, i asked this q too. and i did that thing that u said and i cant find the edit profile image thing u said to click on.
