Photo shop 7 i am tryin to change a photo to black and white.can u help?

There are two ways to do that. The first and easiest is to use the magnetic lasso to select the part you want to be in color. Then go to SELECT INVERSE and click on it to change the selection to be everything but the chosen part. Now use IMAGE MODE GREYSCALE to turn the non-selected part to black and white. Finally go to SELECT and click DESELECT. That gives the exact results you wanted.

I've never used Photoshop 7, only more recent versions, but I'm guessing it has the same basic capabilities. You'll want to select the area you want to remain color, either using selection tools or a mask. Then inverse your selection and de-saturate the rest of the image. Be sure to save the new image as something different so you don't lose the color information from your original.
One way
make a new layer copied from the original,
then image%26gt; adjustments%26gt; desaturate.
then either just rub out the bit you want in colour or use the lassoo tool to get it then cut it. out
press L to load the lasso tool. on the menu to the left, left click and hold down over the now selected lasso. then a submenu will appear. select 'polygonal lasso'. below 'file', 'edit' etc, there should be a box named 'feather'. change that value to 1
using this tool, you click at certain points to make a shape. although this shape is visible on the screen, it makes no change to the image. but whilst selected, you can only edit within this shape

Mouse over to the B%26amp;W image and paint, Clone.. the color onto the B%26amp;W flowers.. It's actually rather easy and not hard to do.
You may want to have the Zoom factor of each image up to the point that only the flowers are seen in EACH window, at the same Zoom % and use the precision cursor so you can be as accurate as possible as you basically paint, draw, color in, the color...

There's no link to your 360 space in your question or Yahoo! Answers profile, so I can't confirm that you have a 360 space. Double-check that you are using the correct Yahoo services and have followed all the instructions below. Some people confuse the Y!Profile (http://profiles.yahoo.com ) with Yahoo! 360 (http://360.yahoo.com ). If you've done everything, then likely you just have to wait for a change to be recognized:
Create a 360 space at http://360.yahoo.com . Click the ';Get Started'; button on the far right section of that page. After going through the activation process, you can click on the teeny tiny ';Yahoo 360 Home'; link on the upper right of that page (or the 360 main page) to get into the 360 space.
Make sure a JPEG formatted photo (with .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe extension) under 5MB is saved to your hard drive.
- Click your ';My Page'; link at the top
- Click ';Edit Profile/Personal Photos'; over the empty picture frame
- Click ';Browse'; and upload photo into an empty field. Then click one ';use as primary'; radio button on the right before saving (if you've uploaded more than one image).

Sometimes that helps make the Y!360 image appear in your Y/A profile for an unknown reason. You still may have to wait for anything to happen though.
*** Although, some people have found limited success in continually trying to re-select the 360 image option in their Y/A profile. I recommend waiting though, as to not inadvertently cause further delay.
*** Some people never see an image show up. You can always post a bug report (or piggyback on other's bug reports) on the issue at the Y/A forum: http://suggestions.yahoo.com/?prop=answe . So, in the meantime, you will be without any picture on Y/A (a gray unisex icon) or an old 360 image. Just go through the above process and let your picture stay that way until the system makes your 360 image appear. If you don't want to wait, then just use a Yahoo! Avatar (http://avatars.yahoo.com ) and forget about using the 360 image.
OTHER TIPS:
*** If the 360 space is recently activated, you may want to wait a few days before changing settings, as Y/A may not recognize that you have a 360 space right away.
*** You may want to enable all the communication options on your Y/A profile and/or enable the Simple URL option in your Yahoo! 360 ';Basic Info'; and ';Blog'; settings pages. Sometimes that helps make the Y!360 image appear in your Y/A profile for an unknown reason. You still may have to wait for anything to happen though.
*** Although, some people have found limited success in continually trying to re-select the 360 image option in their Y/A profile. I recommend waiting though, as to not inadvertently cause further delay.
*** Some people never see an image show up. You can always post a bug report (or piggyback on other's bug reports) on the issue at the Y/A forum: http://suggestions.yahoo.com/?prop=answe . On my website I have a photo that is part of the background. I am trying to find out how I could have that photo change every 5 seconds. Do I need to use a slideshow? Changing photo size on PC?
I am trying to put photos on a website called Trade Me so I can sell somethings. When I download my photos from my camera to the PC they are downlaoding at 1.40MB. They nedd to be under 500kb for Trade Me. How can I make the images smaller? I did it once before using Microsoft Picture It, but this was purely by mistake. The numbers and what not on Microsoft Picture It mean nothing to me. How can I make them smaller? Is there an easier way of doing this? Help please, for the techno phobe.Changing photo size on PC?

Yes, there is an easy way for you to do this. All you have to do is go to the following website and download the Image Resizer program from the menu on the right hand side. Then once its installed u right click on one or all of your photos and click the resize menu and it will give you some easy to choose from options that will get the pictures to the size that you need. The program can be downloaded here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
I think the only way of doing that is croping the image, and then saving it as a jpeg. try to ';save as'; a jpeg. 2nd bar on the bottom. Good luck.
The way I would do this is adjust my camera. Most digital cameras allow you to choose the resolution. The easiest way would be to adjust the camera, take the pic and upload at the lesser resolution.
Go to your picture and right click on it.....then select ';resize'; and you'll be taken to a box that gives you a choice of sizes .....click the ';advanced'; button here for more choices.
Depending on the software in your computer !!
open My pictures and with the pics in thumbnails, Right click the pic and select Open with%26gt;%26gt;Microsoft office picture manager. Them if you have that program click edit%26gt;%26gt;then re-size at the side of the page. you should be able to work it out from there. if you get stuck press F1 help and type in a relative word.
I find this program good for simple editing.

I have all my pics downloaded on my puter in a file and I upload all my pics from there. It makes it easier, you just have to right click on the pic you want then hit save, it will store the pic until you delete it on your puter, you can hit browse files then clicl on your file for pics, then upload, it is actually easyer than it sounds. If you are worried about your space being used on your puter then just delete the pic off your puter when your done. it will still be availabe on your yahoo.photos.
